My eyes are pretty screwed from years of reading too much, so I had to get powered lenses - which were hard to find (especially in red >__> ) and relatively expensive. The pair I got was from here: [link]
If you can manage without vision correction (good for you), plano lenses are much, much cheaper. You can find some amazing, legit deals. The better-looking ones that don't cost hundreds a pair tend to come only in plano. As for which brand...well, my criteria for a prescription weeded out all but a few and I just picked the cheapest one that's left. I can't really give recs other than to get the best-looking one at a price that works for you - and make sure the manufacturer is a reputable one.
Do the research, especially if you've never ordered contact lenses before; there are some laws involved that you may not expect. Oh and, if you're buying from a large site, google for coupons and promo codes; chances are you'll find some. ;]
Wow! I love your contacts! So cool! I wanted purple ones for Road but noooo. D: May I inquire as to where you got them? Haha, you look nice in this picture, too. :]
I got them from [link] , under the Halloween contacts section. You can get purple ones as regular contacts (that are a LOT cheaper too >__> ) instead of the "special effects" that I had to order. Since, ya know, normal people don't tend to get red contacts for daily wear. Thanks! ^ 3^
Hahaha, I did a couple of times. People mostly didn't notice (goes to show how much eye contact people usually make, huh?); but they again it's not like I was wearing bright neon orange or something.
Haha that's awesome. I think strange contacts need to be worn more often. Like neon green or strange pictures. That would be cool. Or maybe I'm just weird, hehe.
I've seen yellow contacts with smiley faces in them. They are awesome...but they look really creepy from far away. Some may argue it's scarier closer up, even.
I'm working on a Soren cosplay myself and I'm undecided about which contacts to get.

I do have a prescription, but it's 0.0000001 or something, so I've gone with plano in the past.
Thanks for the help! Can't wait to have searing red eyes, rawr.
Thanks! ^ 3^
The world would be more interesting if more people wore red contacts on a daily basis.
